My best friend wants to learn how to ride a horse. So, I've agreed to give her lessons. I'm just not sure what I should have her do her first lesson. She's going to ride western and I think I want her to ride bareback her first lesson. That way she can feel how the horse moves. Then, I wasn't sure if I should lead her, put her on a lunge line or just let her free in the arena. Any ideas? Thanks!
