What do you think?

They need to stop making more cars period! Every lot you drive by is full, no wonder there in debt!! They built all these cars no one is buying, now there stuck and want money to make MORE cars people aren't buying. Makes complete sense?!

I am sorry to hear that GM may phase out the Saturn model. My last four vehicles have been Saturn and I have been pleased with the quality of the car and had no real problems with the models that I have leased.

However I can understand the need for GM and other car makers to restructure during these tough economic times.

Thank you for the information.

Well, I am glad to see that big, gas guzzling, air polluting, view obstructing monster vehicle (Hummer) being phased out.......never did like it; and in this economy of tightening up the belt, it makes sense to let that one go. I don't think the Saab ever did pull in the big profits so that is not surprise; and the article says it will be a few more years before they look for a buyer for the Saturn. I am not so sure if that will happen. If they put more energy and effort into maximizing the Saturn models to offer fuel-efficiency, comfort and promoting a message of buying American, it could still work to their advantage to keep it.

too bad about the Saturn.. as far as the Hummer is concerned someone else will pick it up.. When gas was pushing 5 dollars a gallon, I was laughing at a person in the next isle bitching about the cost to fill his hummer I, like he was surprised that he only got 8 mpg?
