Go to a pacific island and vacation, and grow marijuana?

my stupid friend wants to take some friends, go to a deserted island of a boat in the middle of the pacific, take munchies and food for about 6 or so months, and grow a small amount of marijuana on a small island, have fun with friends, relax, smoke it all and come back.. almost like a vacation. What do you think of his crazy vision?
