Going to Italy soon and I wear a headscarf?

Hey, i'm intending to go to Italy soon and I was wondering what is the best place to go to, and which areas are mostly used for tourism? I wear a headscarf and I was wondering, do the Italians look down upon this or would I experience some racism of some sort? I love the language and culture and this aspect is making me wary, although I do know that the Italians are know for their kind nature but it's something i'm wanting to make sure upon when I leave.
