got two drops of water on my nokia n97?

last night i got two drops of water on the front of my nokia n97. i dried it and it was perfectly fine and my friend was playing with it for half an hour. When i got up this morning it wouldn't turn on at all it didn't even vibrate when i pressed the on/off button. My phone and the battery ae in rice at the moment. But could it be from water from two little drops or do you think my friend did something to it? any answers would be appreciated!!!!
