Sixteen years after entering the NBA, the Grizzlies finally have a postseason victory. Zach Randolph had 25 points and 14 rebounds and Marc Gasol tallied 24 points and nine boards, but it was Shane Battier’s 3-pointer with 23.9 seconds left that gave Memphis a 101-98 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday afternoon.

The Spurs were playing without Manu Ginobili, who is sidelined with a sprained right elbow.

Tony Parker led San Antonio with 20 points but only shot 4-for-16 from the floor. Tim Duncan had 16 points and 13 rebounds, while George Hill filled in for Ginobili with 15 pounds, seven boards and four steals.

San Antonio will look to bounce back and hope Ginobili will be in uniform when the teams tip off on Wednesday night.
