Guinea Pig Labor and nutrition?

I am guessing that my guinea pig Lilly is about a year and a half old. She has had a littler before, but not when I had her. I do not know if she was pregnant when I got her as she was in with a large male at the store. I took her because she seemed underweight and malnourished. I wanted to rehabillitate her. I didn. I fed her pellets, timothy hay and romain lettuce along with fresh fruits and other veggies. I can see her babies bouncing about in her tummy and she is being very lazy. I am worried because she stopped eating and I don't want her to lose too much nutrition. I know it's pretty crowded in there and she probably does not have much room for food. What can I do to keep her nourished now and while she nurses the babies? I'm guessing by baby movement that she is due in the next few days. Also, like cats, it it possible for guinea pig babies to have more than one dad?

You need to keep a very close eye on your guinea pig and if it does not start to eat you need to get it to an exotic vet asap.As you know many guinea pig die while pregnant and this is the begging signs of one of the main thing that take their life, They become very toxic form all the babys, so please if she does not start to eat real soon get her to an exotic vet.

Yes it is possible for guinea pigs to have more than 1 dad. I think that you should call your vet and ask for their advice

I like the name Lilly :)
