Guitar Pedal Repeater Gizmo?

I'm looking for a piece of equipment that can repeat a musical phrase on stage. It would basically be like a delay repeater except that it would repeat on a basis of musical bars, and keep in time. It'd be nice if it also had multiple inputs and perhaps some memory. Does anybody know what I'm looking for?
Looper. That's what they're called. Now to just get enough money to buy one. :p
 
hmm well some echo pedals do this but i'd say your best bet is to go down to your local guitarcenter/henris music/whatever and ask they'll know i've played with it before i just can't remember the name
