Do you realize the level of ignorance you are showing? Just the fact that you can ask that question shows exactly how clueless you are. The only type of person that can truly enjoy hurting or killing is a sociopath. That is: Someone who actually totally lacks the ability to feel guilt, empathy, compassion or love. You might want to read up on what it takes to become a peace officer. I've been through numerous tests of all sorts, medical, psychological, physical, oral reviews, I have even been interrogated and had every aspect of my personal life put under a microscope. That's all before entering the academy. The next step is 18-20 weeks of what amounts to boot camp with much higher academic standards. Any major screw ups and you're out, the agency who sponsored you can send you back but you repeat the whole thing from the beginning. Then you get to ride with a field training officer for a minimum of two to three months. Once you pass their on the job evaluations you are officially a peace officer. The chances of someone deeply disturbed getting through all of that, much less having the will to go through it are real slim.
