Had a dream where I killed someone?

I have searched for this answer on the web, but found unsatisfactory information. I wish I could remember all the details of this dream, but I did kill someone in it and guilt weighed heavily upon my conscience. Waking up, being back to reality was the biggest relief I had felt for quite some time. I remember giving a heavy moan upon that realization. Does anyone know how to analyze this further? I believe the person I killed was some distant acquaintance of mine but I can not be sure.

i too have had several dreams of killing people. i believe this is just your mind's way of taking out stress and anger, especially on people that have caused you those said emotions in the past. it may be that you felt this way toward who you killed in your dream.
