I am 30, had a total hysterectomy in July 2008. I switched doctors so I was closer to home, and now this new OBGYN won't prescribe me estrogen because of side effects/. Because I had precancer cells before surgery, which was on my cervix. Well, I went one month without them and was averaging one hour a sleep at night. I am a preschool teacher and couldn't do it. The old doc gave them to me, what is the problem? Also,, any alternatives? Should I see a new doctor? I honestly can't do it without hormones yet, my life was unbearable without them.
