Hair Straightener? Will this work? I'm a newbie?

For my side bangs that go past my eyes a little.

I will comb them down over my eyes, then straighten them down. Will it work if I push them back over to the side?
 
back in the 70's we slept with our bangs taped to our forehead to try and straighten them...we only had a regular iron then.No straighteners...it worked most of the time...
 
if u push them back over they will just fall back down over your eyes unless you straighten then sideways to the side. other than that it wont work :p

yes my sister has side bangs she does hat so yes u should!
