Half my foot fell asleep and wont wake up.?

Well I was at a music festival yesterday and I had pit seats so I was standing up most of the time. Was about 8 or 9 hours of standing and when I took off my shoes when I got home my foot was half asleep I guess you could say. The top part of the left side of my left foot was just a bit numb. Just curious if I should be worried or anything, I'm gonna get it checked out probably but just curious if this is serious or normal or not. Im not used to standing for long periods of time at all. Thanks :D
