I've played all the halo's, but I really don't understand everything about reach, the forerunners, the flood, the actual Halo's. I was reading up on something and it said that at the end of halo 1, cortana realizes the true reasons for the halo's. Wasn't it just to extinguish the flood? If anyone could give me a clear explanation of halo it would be greatly appreciated.
