Handheld game for 5 y/o?

Hello, I have a 5 year old son who is not in school yet. I have to take him to work with me for about 3-5 hours a day. I was thinking of getting him a handheld gaming system to help pass some time. What do you reccommend. It would have to have simple, easy to learn and play games as I would have to be working not helping him play. Thanks
 
Leapster offers educational games. If you don't have a lot of money, you can find these used with games on craigslist or ebay. Leapster also runs good sales through their website throughout the xmas season. My son played with his til he was 8 so it is still a worthwhile investment. also keep in mind that it will go through batteries quite a bit, so get a plug or the rechargable battery pack for it (sold separately) to save yourself some money and tears (when the batteries fail).
