Hard Truck Apocalypse will not load my game or shut down?

I just got Hard Truck Apocalypse and after i quit and save then try to play it later it will not load my game. also for some reason when i quit it it doesn't actually shut down, it still will be running and using memory, but it doesn't appear anywhere besides task manager, can any one help me?
