Harvest Moon: Animal Parade Yellow Bell quest?

From what I remember, I've talked with the harvest goddess and she's told me about the moonlight, I've talked to Calvin and gotten the tablet, but for some reason when I went to the stones on a clear night around 18:40, nothing happened. I had the bell and the tablet with me. What went wrong?
 
Take the Bell out and hold it in your hands while on a clear night. Then walk onto one of the moonlight stones. You will see the Bell absorb some moonlight. After that go to the other moonlight stones and do the same thing.
