I enrolled at this school once and almost everyday this student would show off about knowing the language and knowing the rules and laws of the culture. It wasn't arrogant or showing off exactly, more like he wanted to know more and wanted to get me into a conversation.
I just thought it was interesting because this has never happened to me before and it wasn't later until I realized I felt happy he was interested in it. I wish I could have talked to him at least a little.
