Has anyone else heard a whining dog in dead island?

i was playing dead island and killing some zombies next to a bus while in a truck, suddenly i hear a whining dog and if go to see if i can find it, its no where to be found but i can still hear it, has anyone else encountered this?
so im not on crack, i got 2 other people to confirm that it was a dog, so im pretty positive about the crack issue, and that its not a zombie, i also highly doubt that it is a bug or error, i think it could be an egg from dawn of the dead (final scene when dog runs into island and zombies come out) but im not sure.
 
there are a million glitches I have personally noticed in a 2 player co-op game but audio issues is not one of them.........losing quests while joining another player game is an issue as is NPC running in circles or just standing there is one......having the mini map dotted line send me in the wrong direction is one but a crying dog is not one.

THE JUNGLE IS THE MOST BUGGY SECTION OF THE GAME.

R u sure it's a dog, and not another zombie? If ur sure, you can always take this opportunity to boast to your friends that you've unlocked something special, or something like that.....
