Washington DC? I have an appointment to got there after battling with BV for almost 4 years now. I'm excited that this may just be what I need but scared at the same time because it's going to cost $1300 out of my pocket! They don't take insurance at all! I'm going to just put it on my credit card and go but I want to know from some people who have been there...did it help you? Did you walk away feeling that you had hope? What did the doctors there do differently that you liked? But the biggest question is obviously DID IT WORK AND WAS IT WORTH THE MONEY? Please help and please be serious!
Things that make me want to go there are:
~The appointments are AT LEAST 2 hours long...I've been to Ob/Gyn's who lieterally examined me for 2 minutes!
~I probably already have paid about $1300 with NO results at all.
~The go over the results of the tests that they take
~They invite you to bring someone into the clinic with you
~The new patient coordinator has been at my beckon call (not literally) but she has been a huge help...even giving me her home and cell phone # and encouraging me to call at anytime if I have any questions.
~they also map out on their website what tests and a step by step of what your appointment is going to be like.
