...in solitude in the wilderness? I'm 22, since I was a young child of 7-8 i've felt compelled to leave civilization and live a life of solitude in the wilderness. I feel it eating away at my body,mind and soul With every passing day, month.. and year that I remain in this artificial world. Civilization seems.. alien to me and the only peace i'm able to find is in the wild. When I was 12, I ran away from home in a desperate attempt to Escape civilization. It was the happiest 9 days of my life. Unfortunately I made the mistake of telling a friend my intentions, and found myself in the backseat of a police cruiser.. I felt like an convict trying to escape a jail. I have been practicing and studying wilderness survival techniques for the past 8 years now, and I feel i'm some what prepared. I've seen and read into the wild and many others in case any of you were curious.. So my question is do any of you share these feelings, or know anyone who has actually attempted this? I'm planning on doing this soon and would love to hear any responses
