Has anyone ever tried an image consultant?

I didn't get my brother a Christmas present just yet because I will not see him until next week. I am a little unsure what I should get him...he owns his own business and does not have a good 'business men' style, so I was suggested to look into an image consultant from one of the workers at Moores(I was just going to get him a GC), but I have know idea if these consultants work at all. Do any of you know of anyone who has tried out these types of companies and if they are pretty good?
