You measure parts anyway you want. For example, teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, and any fractions of the used measurement. Just make sure it is volume. That means it could be 2 parts 1 part 1/2 of a part; now substitute the word part with a measurement for each.

Of course use the same measurement each time. Don't use 2 teaspoons for the first ingredient and then 1 tablespoon for the second.
