i had one removed by my gynecologist 3 weeks ago. she cut it off with a scalpel and then cauterized the wound. a few days later i noticed a lump even bigger than the skin tag that i had before the surgery. i called my doctor and set up a follow up appt. the following week and she said it was just swollen and it should look normal in a week. it has now been 3 weeks and the swelling hasn't gone down and im worried that the surgery just created another skin tag. the doctor keeps telling me to give it another week and i do, and there isn't any change. can someone please help?!?!??!?!?!?!
