Next thing I knew I heard a popping noise and I just felt different. For the last few weeks I had felt odd, not quite sure how to explain it just not quite right. I moved my fingers just a little and the next thing I knew I was holding my mirena. I had it in for 3.5 years. Not to be too graphic, but there was a very light amount of blood, similar to spotting, on the mirena and a dried clump of mucus where the threads meet the strings. It has been a couple hours and I haven't had any pain or bleeding. Has anyone else had experience with this? I'm wondering if the mirena was already incorrectly placed, explaining the 'odd' feeling I had experienced in my reproductive area for the last few weeks.</p></blockquote><p></p>
