Has fashion and culture from the ealy 2000s become absolete?

Nowadays there is a backlash to life back in the early 2000s to compared to today. We now look at the 2000s like we look at the 70s with its funky fashion and primitive ways of doing things.

Thoughts?
 
I think anyone who's that into fashion has something wrong with them. People care about wearing nice clothes because it's just natural that we'd prefer to look at something that looks nice than something that looks plain. Fine. But then fashion should be about what looks good. There shouldn't be any such thing as something just "going out of style" for no adequately explained reason. If something looks good, it should be okay to wear it. All these people who care about what's "in" right now, and especially with what's popular during a particular season, are just taking it to an unhealthy level. Seriously. I think anyone who does that should be diagnosed with OCD.
