Hi, I have eight budgies in a large cage.
Yesterday, I boiled an egg - your average chicken egg that you buy from the supermarket - peeled a bit of the shell off the egg, and placed it in their cage. I thought this egg was just going to go to waste and that they would ignore it completely. They did ignore it for that day, but I removed it and put it back in the fridge.
I woke up today and put the boiled egg in the cage again, and they come down and two of them start licking it! I was so excited!
I know this may be really boring and that people may not even care, but I do! Has your flock of budgies or just your single budgie ever tasted something on the first or second day? Usually, it takes much longer for them to try something new, weeks, months even.
I do not welcome those who plan on giving idiot posts.
