Has your bi-cultural or bi-racial relationship been an issue for your families?

Have you married/dated outside your culture/race and had it become an issue with either of your families? I'm interested in the culture gap that might occur when two people get together from different backgrounds. Did it cause any trouble between you and your partner? Do your parents not approve?
