...to come here? My daughter is 2 yrs old and lately she's been doing this thing where if I ask her to come here or I try to change her diaper or change her clothes, she laughs like crazy, I mean hysterically. I will say calmly come here and we'll put your clothes on and she will squeal and laugh like I am tickling her. I will repeat this about 5 times and I end up yelling at her to come here and she laughs even louder when I am yelling. The louder I yell the harder she laughs and I have to actually go over and pick her up and carry her onto my bed to change her diaper. She will kick and throw herself around and laugh hysterically the whole time. At first it was no big deal but now it's everything I ask her. If I say come here to wash your hands or come here to brush your hair, I have to go and pick her up and force her to do it while she wiggles and kicks and laughs. A few days ago, we were walking to the park and I told her to slow down, we are coming to s street and she started laughing and running full force to the street. I yelled for her sto stop but she kept going so I had to drop my purse and everything on the ground and run as fast as I could to stop her from running into the street. She thought it was hysterical but this behavior is actually becoming dangerous. My husband tells me I am too soft on her and I should spank her for that but I just can't bring myself to do that. I don't believe in spanking a child. What should I do? I know she is a happy little girl and that's why I said it was no big deal at first but the whole running into the street incident scared me and sometimes it's not a joking situation, I mean business and want her to do as I say. Not in a mean way, I just want her to listen to me and not laugh it off.
