One of my friends is a Japanese actress, and her boyfriend owns a website about martial arts movies and techniques. They own many, many movies. A couple of weeks ago, I went shopping with her, and she bought some DVDs. I was amused when she took one from the shelf. It had a photograph of an Asian lady in a gown with slits at both top and bottom and a city scene behind her. Near the center of the box was "SHIRI" in large white letters across the lady's body. In Japanese, "shiri" means "buttocks, bottom, butt", so I laughed and commented about that. She laughed too and said it is a Korean movie that sounded interesting from the brief review on the back of the box. We both speak Japanese and English, but neither of us speak Korean, so we did not know what "shiri" means in Korean. Her boyfriend speaks some Korean, so he might know. I may have a chance to see the movie eventually, but until I do, I want to ask if anyone can tell me something about this movie and what "shiri" means in Korean. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
