Haven't you noticed Holidays are more depressing than cheerful?

Yeah, Christmas gifts are nice, but then its over in a day, which is why Hanukkah would be a better Holiday.

Nobody trick-or-treats anymore or even dresses-up.

For some reason nobody does anything for Easter anymore.

Valentines Day, I never get anything. So if you do, good for you.

Fourth of July, nobody cares about, which they should. I love Fourth of July.

My birthday is nice. I like that one.

So anyways, pretty much all Holidays suck. If you have any more Holidays for me to comment on, please let me know.

I think that totally depends on who you happen to be around during the holidays...if your family tends not to go all out for those holidays, consider a couple of things: are there any small children in your family, if not, that might be a factor...if YOU feel an urge to celebrate, DO IT! Get your friends and even your family in on it. Get your friends together for an old fashioned Easter Egg hunt (complete with plastic eggs filled with things other than candy).

On another note, yes, holidays do seem to be more depressing than when I was a kid. Most of that is just because I'm grown, my parents aren't into the holidays as much because of that, and I happen to be single. Put it all together and it equals lame. :p
