hi everyone. i'm from new york and moved to france last october to live with my fiancé in paris (he is french). i'm here on a long stay visa until we return to new york in july for our wedding. which then i will be able to come back with a spousal visa. we plan on living in france for several years because of his job. i am not working since i don't have the right to yet as my visa won't allow. sooooo, here's the issue: i'm 2 months pregnant, not working, here on traveler's insurance (which is crap), no securité sociale or carte vitale (obviously), and not married for another month. i'm confused and stressed as to what to do next. i know i have to register my pregnancy with some sort of declaration of grossese before the third month, but considering i'm not working or married yet, who do i send it to? i'm just trying to figure out what to do. i'm freaking. and once i marry him will i be eligible for a carte vitale? and also, i'm wondering if i should mail my receipts and records in to my traveler's insurance or if i'll be able to wait till after i marry him then send them in to be reimbursed by his insurance. i'm just pregnant and confused and stressed. i thought my visa paperwork was a lot to deal with. if anyone can give me advice or even a link on who i can talk to to find out more. my fiancé and i seem to be lost as nobody has been able to give us a clear answer. thanks
