having trouble with lightscribe cd burner/dvd burner?

when i go to burn the disc or whatever i click next and this is the message i get

LightScribe Error

A LightScribe disc was not detected in the drive. Please insert a LightScribe disc with the label side down.

but i have a lightscribe disc and a lightscribe burner that came with the laptop what do i do yall
