So I have a Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K and i would like to be able to use the 7.1 channel surround sound from my Blu Ray player. The thing is, my tv does not have an HDMI port (It has component Y, Cr, Cb). Because there is no way to down-convert from HDMI to component; i use the component video out of the Blu Ray player (a Samsung BD-P1500). Is there a way to get my receiver (VSX-1019) to take the audio from the HDMI while taking the video from the component?</p></blockquote><p></p>
