So, I Have my HD Flatscreen Visio tv hooked up to my home stereo. I can run sound through my stereo when I am watching my TV but as soon as I hook up my HDMI cables for my laptop to watch a movie it doesn't play through my stereo....what gives? How do I get my system to play movies from my laptop while hooked up via HDMI?
I'm using an old school cassette jack ( that weird ribbonless adapter that plugs into the headphone jack...it looks like a cassete with a headphone cord basically)
