During the olympic break (no school), me and my bud started to become really tight. We're texting like crazy and he would always initiate the text. We hangout at least twice a week. Now that it's back to school, we've both become busy and he did tell me that he's not as text-y as before. What bothered me though is that even though I'm busy I don't mind texting him back. I mean it's just a text that u can send at your own convenience right? Today, I sent him a very short message about our common friend being back in town. He replied very quickly which is fantastic but then he said he's really cramming right now and that he'll talk to me in 2 weeks time. This has never happened to us. Why does he want that much of a quiet time? Is he really just busy with school or has he lost interest? The reason I'm concerned is that he's planning my 18th birthday in two weeks time so how can we plan it if he doesnt want to be bothered... I'm hurt that he responded that way. A text shouldn't take so much of his time. He could've just replied normally and then after a while texted me that his busy and that he needs to study. I just don't get it why he gave me a particular date when we'll talk. Note: I don't bug him at all. Our text is very minimal like 3-7 texts a day or every other day. Do u think he has lost interest? Cause he used to be really hyper with me at text now he seems like a changed person.
