...second gen iPod touch? My friend has a second gen iPod and said that when he downloaded the new os and installed it, it stopped the external speakers from working. Has anything happened to anyone else or is it safe to download?
 
iOS 4 works fine for me and everyone else I know. I think your friend's iPod just decided to have the speaker go out at the same time.
