My LG Venus just broke. According the people in the store there is water damage and a cracked screen. It has never touched water and I think I would have noticed if the screen was cracked. So they're not giving me a new phone. Anyway, my dad offered to give me his old palm treo. The only problem is that to activate or use a smartphone you have to pay an extra $45 a month for broadband access which I really don't need. Is there any way to use the phone without the broadband?
