I have tried MPC, VLC, Windows media player and some others too. I have installed the latest VLC codec packs and also the xvid codec packs for the Windows media player. VLC opens the file, but i get a rainbow colored screen as the output. MPC does not open the file and Windows media player says "XViD video codec required to view this video. Click below to download and install." If i click the link, "VIO player" is installed. Even that doesn't play the video. I have absolutely no clue what to do.
