help identify super nintendo game please!!!?

I'm trying to find 2 super nintendo games that i use to play when i was younger. I cant remember the names at all but anyone could help me, i would really appreciate it!.

The first game starts at you looking at some cave or mountain. Then you walk through the door and there are a bunch of mirrors around. I believe this is when you get to choose your character, and then you go exploring in this cave area. Thats about all i remember.

The second game is a space ship game where your scrolling from left to right fighting monsters. The first level starts in this forest place and the second level has you in a mountain with lava all around you. I believe it has a power-up that gives you a mini ship and shield kinda stuff.

Ive played a lot of super nintendo games and i was surprised i couldnt identify these. but check out this site http://www.emuparadise.org/roms/snes/ its a site for roms but they have a little picture and description by each game so you might notice the ones your thinking of. keep in mind they dont have EVERY snes game on that site
