HELP! IM LOOKING FOR A SUV!!?

Im looking for a used suv. I want a 2009-2010 one for a maximum price of 15000$. What is the most reliable, safe, cool looking one I can buy? I was looking at some "JEEPs" (Patriot), Ford escapes, etc. Feel free to Share the pros and cons of the vehicule you choose...
 
Jeeps are EXTREMELY reliable. If you look at the Patriot, it gets pretty decent gas mileage for an SUV and doesn't waste any more than an Escape or a CR-V.

An 2009-2010 for $15,000 is just not going to happen though.
 
Jeeps are extremely unreliable, get poor gas mileage, and are not any more or less safe than any other car out there.

Honda CR-V's and Toyota Rav4's are great but they will be a lot more than $15k for a 2009. Ford Escapes are very good vehicles. Kia sportage also. Subarus are more like a station wagon but they are the best in the snow if that is important for you. Escapes are probably the best bang for the buck, there are so many out there that the resale value is not insanely high like toyota and they are pretty good cars.
