Given these abilities, what position suits me best?
People say that I'm really good at:
1v1
Footskills
Creative play
Risk taking
Technical ability: headers, volleys, chest traps, juggling, crosses, two footed ability
High work rate
Average speed (long stride...I'm 5'4 for a 12 yo girl)
Good runs
Good passes
Calm with the ball
Good vision of the field- able to scan all around
Good shots on goal- (slightly weak since I'm about 85lbs)
Good stamina
Unselfish
Adequate tackle ability (could use more beef!!)
Defensive heading ability
Diving header ability
I have played forward and center/outside mids for my old team. That coach told me that I'd make a good outside back. Now I'm with a new team where my coach has put me on defensive mid and I absolutely hate it!! He tells us to hold the ball for three seconds maximum allowing virtually zero creativity or risk taking. What position does it sound like would suit me best?
