Help me remember the name of a guy/band/group I saw on Top of the Pops.?

I have spent all night trying to remember something I saw on TOTP.

I cant remember the words, artist or title, its in the back of my mind and its driving me crazy

It was like this old guy rapping really fast, he was wearing a white suite and had a moustache I think.

I know its a long shot asking here but I do hope someone can help me find out what this is,

even if you have no idea what it is thank you very much for taking the time to read this Question

seriously dude how the heck are we going to know what's in the back of your head; we don't even know you! An old guy in a suit, limits that to about oooooooo ANYBODY.

lol I am not trying to be mean, but at least you could have gave us some of the lyrics he used ... more detail would have been nice.

EDIT II: come on, I'm intruiged - narrow it down a little. Give us something... was he white? Black? Fat, or thin? ANything might help

EDIT III: I am annoyed out of all proportion. I thought of John Scatman, but figured it couldn't possibly be him.
