Do updates come from the cell service providers? Or can I do it myself?
I was about to get a HTC Desire(2.1) from my regional carrier but they said they are not updating to 2.2... ???
Can I update to 2.2 myself or do updates have to come from the carriers? In which case the phone would be forever stuck at 2.1.
