Help with an excel problem?

Hello all

I was hoping someone could provide me with some help with excel.

I have a cell which has 30m557y in it i want to seperate the contents of the cell so that the
30m is put into a seperate cell but with no m attached to it
& the
557y is put into a seperate cell but with no y attached to it.

Can anyone provide any insight into this.
