Help with Audi A4 2001 Key!?

Okay. I got an Audi A4 2001 B5 from a car dealer and it came with only one key. And this key just starts up the car. It's not programmed to lock or unlock the car. The part code of the car key doesn't match the part code on the door panel, but the key starts up the car. So, can I get any other key for audi and program it on mine or it has to be the same part code?
Are all A4 2001 B5 models has the same part code?

I've got an 01 Passat B5. Easiest way is to go on Ebay and pick up a key. When you go to the dealer to have it cut they'll do it for you. Or save ten bucks and try this it worked for me. Just do the part with the key in ignition. Tried it before key was cut. Also, my Passat does not have a transponder in the key, not sure for audi.
