Help with beginner aquarium - Are my fish ok?

i have a heated 10 gallon tank with 2 filters and propper PH levels. Everything is absolutly suitable for life, im pretty sure..

I just bought two baby oscars, they arent even near too big for the tank yet, so they should be fine right??

They've been hiding behind this fake coral thing in my tank and barely moving at all. They are laying on they're sides and im scared they are not ok. They wierd thing is though, when i turned out their lights, they popped up and started swimming around, but they went back to laying down and hiding after a few minutes.

any advice?

If you just bought them today, they are probably just a bit overwhelmed by the move and will come around tomorrow or the next day. If they are still acting strangely by tomorrow night, though, I would probably take them back to the store, they might have a disease.

Also, you oscars are going to get HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE. Like, to house two of them, you're going to need something along the lines of 125 gallons or more. So you might want to take them back anyway and get something a little more manageable. ;) Good luck!
