Help with internet megabyte usage?

Ok, i have one of those verizon wireless internet cards and i have a big question. My brother uses it on his computer and maybe after 1 hour of using it on his computer he only used like 1-2 megabytes. On mine after using it for 1 hr ive used almost 10-20 megabytes. Can anybody help me figure out how to make it use megabytes slower. Thank You.
 
you cant make usage slower. it depends what you use it for. 10-20 megabytes an hour is nothing. i use up to 1gb an hour. this is because i play online games, watch videos etc. im not with verizon so i dont know, but my isp has a service which for certain sites and downloads it does not count into your usage. maybe you should check with verizon.
