This is so sad but I feel my characters argue too much. I can't make them not because I'm an argumentative person and it's really annoying me. Is it alright that they argue a lot, or would that annoy people?
They're boyfriend, girlfriend but always over stupid things because right now it's a village made of sand (not nothing exciting, they are on the beach and the girl is bored so she makes a village out of the sand, sad, I know) and I keep getting dragged off track by their arguing and I need this to go somewhere but it isn't getting there. Should I stop the arguing and just cut to the chase or would that not bother you in a book? Later on they argue about talking to one of his friends, army dog-tags, caravans, fire, losing things, getting lost, just everything and I feel that with all this it would be more realistic that they were friends or at least not going out. I know this sounds crazily stupid but what do you think?
i can't believe I convinced myself to post this.
no this is my novel, I'm writing, the test was a two question thing! Those questions were deleted anyway because of your swearing.
can you not just help by answering?
I'm not dumb, I'm trying to write a novel and I did that because I said to somebody that I would because she made a good point. That is why I asked those and this has nothing to do with it, if you aren't going to help in any way why bother answering, I'm here to get help. By the way, I know they were deleted for your swearing because I deleted them a few hours ago, and I deleted the gary stu one, I think the mary sue one is gone. That was a once thing, either leave me alone or answer properly.
sorryanyone who sees the argument above, me and dirty little secret. she is annoyed by my previous questions that I deleted.
