help with my jailbroken itouch battery?

yeah I jailbroke my 4g 4.2.1 itouch. and for a while I just downloaded a few apps like fruit ninja, and a korean to english dictionary. but I noticed that my battery meter get emptied waay to fast only after a few short moments it refills. This is constant when I'm using an app or watching a movie. Especially when I'm watching a movie, I'd have it like full charge, only after like 40-50 minutes the pop up saying I have less than 20 percent of battery shows up. sooooo help plz? is there something wrong with my itouch?
